“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mathew 5:16

This verse from the Bible provides a foundational guide for a student's character, integrity and purpose within a school setting. It calls students to let their “light shine” through good deeds and explains that true goodness fulfils the spirit of the rules, rather than just superficially following them.

Students, be bold in kindness, stand up for what is right and be honest, in whatever you do. Let your actions reflect God's love. Above all, treat school rules as tools to build character, not just as restrictions.

It is a matter of great joy and gratitude to welcome you to the website of Somerville School (NOIDA), established under the guidance and care of the Lott Carey Baptist Mission in India. As a Christian educational institution, our calling is not only to impart knowledge, but also to nurture young lives in the light of God's truth, love, and wisdom.

We believe that true education is holistic. It seeks the development of the mind, the strengthening of character, and the formation of a life rooted in faith, compassion, discipline, and service. Our desire is that every child entrusted to our care may grow into a responsible citizen and a person of integrity, guided by Christian values and moral courage.

Greetings to the Principals, Staff, Students and Parents of Somerville Schools!
The year 2020-21 will be remembered by all of us for being a year of unprecedented challenges. The nation promised that it would comply with instructions and follow the norms of social distancing, wearing of masks and stepping out only for emergencies. Hospital and health workers got ready for what was to be the worst pandemic in modern times.
Schools were to remain closed till further notice. Online classes were to commence as soon as possible.

We begin each day with perfect faith in the Lord, because we know that he is our good shepherd and he will take good care of us. Somerville School, NOIDA epitomises the green pastures where the children roam safely and freely. We all need someone to take care of us and in Somerville School, NOIDA, the children and their happiness and safety are our priority.
