PRINCIPAL

The Principal, Vice Principal, Head Mistress and the Heads of the Departments observed the classes of the teachers of all Classes. Special note was made regarding class control and clarity of expression. The classes of Teachers on Probation were observed more than once. Feedback was given to the teachers. Suggestions were made on how to improve on the shortcomings of the teachers.

All meetings were tabled and signed. Lesson Plans were to be submitted in time and Log Books were to be maintained regularly. The 1st meeting of each Department was held in the presence of the Principal/ Vice Principal/ Headmistress. After that regular, weekly and monthly meetings were held to check the files, give instructions, check the worksheets and depute duties regarding the examination schedule. Parallel remedial teaching in Mathematics was introduced in the previous year and is being continued this year for classes VI,VII & VIII.

FILES

HOD’s took up all files before the First term and Final term Examination. The teachers were required to sign the completion of syllabus circulars. The HOD’s did random checking of the Answer Sheets of Periodic Tests/ Examinations. The Headmistress took up notebooks and did a spot check. She brought a number of books which were poorly corrected to the principal and the teachers were cautioned.

HEADMISTRESS’S – REPORT

All the Classes from Nursery to V were observed by the Headmistress at least two or three times in a year. The teachers were told about their short comings and if there was something good done in one class them all the other teachers were asked to follow it.

The English HOD did some workshops on Grammar/ Vocabulary with the Primary Teachers. The Principal observed some classes of the Primary Teachers.

There were staff meetings with the HOD’s before the start of the session. The syllabus was discussed here and if there were any addition or deletion to be done then it was discussed & then shown to the Principal for approval.

Teachers were told to stand and teach at least in the first four periods. They were told to pay more attention to the handwriting of the students.

All the written work was first approved by the Headmistress before it was given to the students to write. Teachers were told not to touch the students or to use harsh words.

The Floriculture Society of NOIDA organised their Annual Flower Sshow. Our school won a number of prizes in the School and Institution category. This year in succession our school won the Second Prize in the Garden Competition and was awarded the Pratibha Arya Memorial Running Trophy at the Annual NOIDA Flower Show
