Investiture Ceremony is one of the most prestigious and awaited events in a school’s calendar. It marks the formal installation of the newly elected student council, who are entrusted with leadership roles and responsibilities for the academic year.

On 10th July 2025, Somerville School NOIDA held its Investiture Ceremony with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event began with a special prayer symbolising the dispelling of darkness and the awakening of knowledge and leadership.The newly elected leaders lead by the Head Girl, Head Boy, Vice Head Girl and Vice Head Boys marched with pride and purpose as they took their places on the stage.The Principal, Mrs.M.N. Arul Raj administered the oath of office that affirmed the students' promise to uphold the values and traditions of the school. They promised to lead by example and fulfil their duties with sincerity and dedication.

The Principal then pinned the badges and sashes to the Head Boy, Mukund Bansal, Head Girl, Kripaa Bhardwaj, Vice Head Boys, Rudraksh Rajvanshi and Raghav Srivastava, Vice Head Girl, Khanak Bhalla. The Vice Principal, Mrs. Florence Joseph pinned the badges and sashes for the House Captains and the house mistresses of all four houses pinned the badges and sashes for the Vice Captains of their respective houses. The house mistresses also delivered their addresses with inspiring words about responsibility, teamwork, and the importance of developing leadership at a young age. Their presence added grace and motivation to the occasion.

The proud parents and teachers looked on as the young leaders took on their new roles with determination and confidence.

The ceremony concluded with a hymn and  rendition of the school song and an inspiring address by the Principal 

The Investiture Ceremony was a memorable event, instilling a sense of duty, discipline, and pride in the student body. It was a perfect blend of solemnity and celebration, reinforcing the school's belief in nurturing leadership for a better tomorrow.
